Dignitas Personae

Dignitas Personae, or The Dignity of a Person, has been released by the Vatican Congregation for the Doctrine of Faith. The document addresses ethical issues regarding biomedicine and provides guidance on how to respect human life and human procreation during our scientific age. Although I personally have not tackled it yet, Dignitas Personae is said to encourage medical progress while defending the life of unborn human beings. Issues include embryo adoption, pre-implantation drugs, gene therapy, designer babies, human/animal hybrid embryos (what??) and more...

So read up girls! Dignitas Personae can be found here: http://www.usccb.org/comm/Dignitaspersonae/.
